The most recent application cycle for CWCB's Turf Replacement Grant Program closed on February 28, 2025. If and when funding is available for additional rounds, the application period will be open from August 31 to October 31 and December 31 to February 28.

Please note:

• Grant funding is only available to eligible entities such as cities, water utilities, and water districts.
  
  
• Single-family homeowners, multifamily properties (such as HOAs), and commercial properties are not eligible entities.
  

If you are seeking funding for a project at your property, please work with your local water provider or municipality to determine what, if any, rebates they offer to support water-wise landscapes, low-water plants, and efficient irrigation.
