Water Education & Workforce Resource Hub

The Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB), in partnership with the Colorado Water Center (CoWC), is pleased to announce the launch of a new online Water Education and Workforce Resource Hub for Colorado.

Launching initially as a pilot site, the hub serves as a one-stop shop for students, educators, water professionals, and community members seeking Colorado-specific water education and workforce resources. The state agency and water center partnered to advance shared priorities identified in the Colorado Water Plan and the 2024 Colorado Water Workforce Summit, including Agency Action 4.1, which calls for the creation of a capacity-building hub to provide accessible educational opportunities.

Developed with guidance from an advisory board of experts in Colorado water education and workforce development, the hub features over 200 resources from organizations across the state. Resources are centralized and organized by audience type, subject matter, and resource type, making it easier for users to find relevant information and opportunities.

The hub is designed to be a living, regularly updated resource that reflects Colorado’s evolving water education and workforce needs and landscape. Users can explore water curricula, online courses, career advancement, networking opportunities, funding resources, and more.
