BIP Public Comment Period - CLOSED

The updated Basin Implementation Plan (BIP) documents were out for public comment from October 13, 2021 through November 15, 2021. Feedback gathered during that time will be delivered to each basin for consideration.

The new BIPs advance the basin roundtables' 2015 efforts. For the first time, a shorter and standardized Volume 1 BIP strategy document makes comparing BIPs easier. Additionally, basin efforts to identify local projects are now captured in the CWCB's new Project Database beta test - learn more by clicking this link.

The draft Volume 1 BIP links for each basin are below. For those who wish to dive deeper, feel free to reference the longer and more detailed draft Volume 2 documents that are located in the right column on this webpage. These documents will be finalized by the roundtables from now until January 14, 2022. Final updated BIPs will be completed by the end of January 2022.
